Set up quick order

Offer quantity inputs for multiple variants on a product page.

Choose the placement#

Tessaro has a Quick order list product-template section and a Quick order block inside Product page. The product.quick-order template is another starting layout. Avoid placing duplicate ordering lists on the same page unless you have a specific reason.

Configure the list#

  1. Preview a product with multiple variants.
  2. Add Quick order list, or add/show the Quick order block in Product page.
  3. Set the heading and explanatory text. Choose whether variant images, SKU, and volume pricing should appear where these settings are provided.
  4. Review quantities and availability for each row, then test adding quantities for more than one variant.
  5. Check the cart contains the intended variants and quantities.

Quantity rules and pricing#

Native quantity rules and volume prices depend on Shopify providing them for the customer/product context. A theme can display and respect supplied data; it does not grant B2B eligibility, create price breaks, or convert a store into a wholesale account. Large variant sets and customer-specific rules require testing on the actual store.

When an order cannot be fully added#

Read the error and inspect the cart before retrying. The current implementation reconciles partial additions and preserves remaining quantities where implemented. Do not repeatedly click add while a request is pending. Stock can change between opening the page and submitting quantities.
